In partnership with Zappos, I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots for this winter by pairing them with a few neutrals and my new go-to color for this season, maroon. While I like wearing neutrals and basics throughout the fall/winter, I am a girly-girl at heart and will always default to having a little color in my outfit as opposed to none.
With the Paige Skyline Skinny jeans in such a classic color combined with the very detailed designs of the Freebird Folsom boots, I decided to go with a classic black and white flannel button-up shirt to keep the outfit more casual and natural and of course my trusty tote - no coincidence that it's neutral toned as well.
The detailing on these Freebird Folsom boots are simply amazing - they are definitely more intricate than your typical pair of boots, and it just works so well with any basic pair of skinny jeans. Not only that, but each pair of Freebird by Steven boots are handcrafted from start to finish using a traditional Goodyear construction - essentially stacks of leather are hammered together and carefully stitched to create a virtually indestructible sole.
Construction of each pair of boots doesn't even begin until materials are carefully selected, and you can bet with such attention to detail that the boots go through 5-6 final steps to give each of them a one-of-a-kind look.
A little gold accessory to soften the entire outfit is a must! Sometimes a pair of dark skinny jeans can be a bit overpowering compared to the rest of the outfit, but these Paige Skyline Skinny jeans had none of that effect at all - I actually feel the jeans brought the color of my maroon cardigan out even more definitely a plus!
Surprisingly, I didn't know much about Paige jeans until I was given this opportunity to try them, and I must say they have been growing on me since day one. While browsing their collection on Zappos, I noticed they had many different types of washes - some more basic than others but none that I wouldn't love to have in my closet. In fact, Paige partners with the best wash-houses go figure, which just so happens to be in their hometown of Los Angeles.
And there you have it, the entire outfit! Shopping for these items was such a breeze thanks to Zappos and the way their site and customer service is designed. There is a staggering selection of product, yet it's extremely easy to filter and search for the items that you're looking for.
