CK Mondavi :: An American Classic

The first time I ever tried a CK Mondavi wine was at my cousin's graduation party. If you even know me a little bit, you'll know that alcohol particularly wine is not my specialty. But I guess peer pressure really does kick in, and soon I had a glass of red in hand and chatting it up with my cousin's best gal pals, and I must say it's been one of the better red wines that I've tried so far!

That being said, I wanted to let you all know about a great way to give back to our veterans and stock up on some weekend wine too! Starting in May and running through August, a percentage of each bottle sold will be donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, an organization that supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. The entire fund consists entirely of public donations, and serves our military personnel who have been wounded or killed in service, as well as their families.

Find more information at www.fallenheroesfund.org.

A few fun 'American Classic' CK Mondavi facts:

- Established in the 1940s, CK Mondavi still remains a family-owned business.
- The only American made/grown wine in the "under $10" category.
- Run by legendary Napa Valley wine icon, Peter Mondavi Sr., a WWII veteran.
- Available nationwide.

And last but not least, please comment below to share your own story about supporting veterans and American-made products. One lucky reader will be entered into CK Mondavi's grand prize drawing by May 15, with a chance to have $500 donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in the winner's name!
