San Francisco, the City by the Bay, quite possibly might be my favorite city during all times of the year. Be it the warm Summers and Springs, or the chilly Falls and Winters, there's always some sight to see or place to visit. That's why I've teamed up with Marc Jacobs and his new fragrance 'Honey' to introduce to you my #MJHoneySpots.
Starting with my all time favorite hot spot in San Francisco is the Bay Bridge pictured above, viewed from Piers 2 and 4. Technically this is only the western-span of the Bay Bridge, but it's by far the more magnificent of the two. It's setting, situated right in the middle of the bay, is even more amazing at night ever since the installation of the Bay Lights. If you're ever in the area and enjoy beautiful, twinkling lights, you won't want to miss the Bay Lights attraction. And if the bridge doesn't fascinate you, there's always plenty things to see and foods to eat along the Piers.
Next up is the Palace of Fine Arts located in the Marina District in San Francisco. The palace was constructed in 1915 and still remains one of the most beautiful locations in all of the city. Not only is this location one of the hottest spots for both locals and tourists, it also has been a setting for many movies and television shows. Nowadays you'll find different groups of people visiting this gorgeous palace, and even the occasional fashion blogger or two using the many different settings for outfit pictures, I'm guilty!
This tiny little gem of a street is called Belden Place, also known as the French Quarter of San Francisco. I actually had dinner with a few friends at one of the restaurants on this crowded little street, and boy am I glad I did! This alley is host to many small restaurants, ranging from French Cuisine to Italian Steakhouses, and bars. The ambiance here, especially at night, is nothing I had ever experienced in the city until recently. This place might not be too well known, but it's definitely my personal hot spot.
And last but not least, a location I'm sure many of you will recognize, is Union Square. The main headquarters for shopping in San Francisco is lined with store after store, from designer boutiques to larger department stores, you'll find anything and everything your heart desires in this compact little square mile of shopping.
I hope you've enjoyed my #MJHoneySpots in San Francisco - In fact, if you visit each location from first to last, you'll have an entire trip filled with scenic views, great food, and adventurous shopping!
Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sunny delicious floral – energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth. The fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear brightened with a splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. At the heart of the fragrance is orange blossom, a note of sparkling femininity that mingles with nectars of honeysuckle and peach. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
