to work we go
Not every boot can past the test and double for both casual and work duties but the Coach Honey Bootie can, and with flying colors, which is why it was my bootie of choice from the Coach Fall Footwear collection. The Honey Bootie in a darker leather makes it a sophisticated choice for all your suits, pencil skirts, and blazers. It's not too flashy, adds height just as your work heels would, but it keeps your feet warm in the rapidly approaching cold weather.
I think the Honey Bootie is an options that works for the office for many reasons, which mainly lie in the heel. The height of the heel is perfect for work, it's not too tall and not too short. You can achieve the height you would with normal work heels but with the warmth of boots and the comfort of a chunky heel, which brings me to my second reason, the chunky heel. Booties can sometimes be borderline inappropriate for the office of course depending on your office setting because of a thin, stiletto heel. However the Honey Booties have a nice chunky heel that keeps it conservative enough for the office. Plus the nice brown contrast of the heel against the dark grey leather make the bootie easier to pair with warm and cool toned colors alike !
With that, let's move on to what I've chose to wear to work with the Honey Booties!
I wanted to go with something fun, modern, but still with a hint of sophistication. So I started with a polka dot blouse for fun, a collarless blazer for a more modern feel, and a classic cognac skirt to ground the outfit.
I opted for a blazer that has multiple colors but in particular, dark grey because it's a subtle but nice way to emphasize and tie in the dark grey boots without seeming too matchy matchy. Oh and don't forget to add a simple, longer necklace!
And that is how I've styled my Coach Honey Booties for work. I seriously live in these booties.
