Fall Transitions with GiGi New York :: TWO Office Girl

In case you're wondering, this is the exact outfit that I wore to work this morning. In fact, as you're reading this, I'm probably sitting at my desk in this white polka dot top and pink green patterned pants, just typing away on my computer and checking emails.

This outfit is a great transitioning to Fall work look that uses more neutrals and deeper colors that are so reminiscent of Fall.

Mixing patterns has always been a fashion favorite of mine and when I can't decide what to wear in the morning, I naturally grab a simple pattern and then pick out another slightly more complex pattern. And what makes everything easier is having that one go to bag you can snatch up in the morning, in the 5 minutes that you have left, and feel confident that it will match what you're wearing. That's why I've been bringing this brown GiGi New York carry all tote with me everywhere - it matches everything and it's especially great for work.

The rich, brown bag helps to mature and ground the patterns and colors. A skinny mint belt and a few of your bracelets should do the trick for accessories.

Ready for work, looking fashionable but still professional!

Stay tuned for my last night-owl look tomorrow with this same tote!

  1. I love this one! I recently bought a pair of slouchy pants like that and have been trying to think up different ways to style it (though, mine are blue with white polka dots, so a bit less neutral).

  4. The print on your pants is so fun and the looser fit still holds on to summer! Hope work is going well on this Tuesday!

  5. Love this mix! I'm still not great at mixing patterns, so your process is a huge help - I'll have to see what I can come up with!
