There's nothing quite the same as good old denim on denim aka Double D. But sometimes plain denim on denim can feel a bit too masculine and overdone. My twist: patterned denim + pleated denim = a better girlier version of denim on denim. 

Add some cream polka dot tights which are so Blair Waldorf don't you think? and a pair of chunky platform sandals to soften all the rough blue.
