chambray dress featuring a faux leather jacket, neon pink polka dot infinity scarf, and neon pink belt
So remember a few posts ago see here I mentioned that one of my resolutions for 2013 is to recycle clothes in my personal labyrinth also known as my closet? Well I'm sticking by it and I wanted to take all of you wonderful readers on this journey with me! So from here on out, this is the new plan: every week I am going to style one item, five different ways. This gives me a chance to push the limits of my creativity, wear each item in my closet several times, and hopefully inspire all of you to do the same or at least provide you all with some outfit ideas!
If any of you have stylist's block a fashionista's version of writer's block with any items, this is the perfect opportunity to have your problems solved and get some inspiration! Leave a comment at any time, on any post, with a description of the item black maxi skirt, ankle booties, cargo jacket, etc. and stayed tuned to see your request featured on my blog with 5 different ways to wear it!
Enough introduction, let's get started!
Plain denim dress, a bit plain if I do say so myself. But hey, at least there's pockets and buttons all the way down!
Throw on a leather jacket or in this case a faux leather jacket and some black tights for warmth.
Last step, color. Add any bright colored scarf and belt to keep the outfit from being too dark and boring. I opted for a pink polka dot scarf to inject some quirk, pretty successfully too in my humble opinion.
Wa-la. The look is born.
