My sister's favorite color growing up was purple, I'm not sure if that's still the case. Where her wardrobe could have once been labeled as 'purple ombre', it now stands to resemble an exploded rainbow. Sometimes I sneak a glance into her closet and wonder if she's forgotten about her beloved violet amidst all that today's fashion world has to offer or if she's simply chosen to move on from the color reminiscent of Barney. But one or the other, I can't ignore the fact that she chose a darn good color for a monochromatic wardrobe - especially at age 5.
