Hat styled again here.

I moved from Texas to California in the 6th grade, more than a decade ago yikes! I remember that pre and post moving, I would sit my dad down and have debates with him every night how he had the patience for me still eludes me as to why we shouldn't move to and stay in California. I can still see my eleven year old self drawing pro/con charts, so determined and convinced that I could change my dad's mind even though we were approaching the one month mark as California residents.

I eventually grew out of the hatred I once had for this golden state but I never grew out of love with the state where everything is bigger and better. I still think about my childhood in Texas every now and then.

Although I don't ever gear up in head to toe cowgirl, once in a while I like to try and get as close as I can to looking Western without offending my west coast heart.

But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart, I just don't think it'd understand - 10 points to whoever can tell me which celebrity's dad is famous for 'Achy Breaky Heart'.
