Rainy Lessons

I learned a lesson today, rainy days can make photos very difficult. Note to self: pre-shoot some extra outfits for rainy day posts.  

1. Perfect lighting is a hard element to come by, but average lighting on a rainy day is almost unheard of. 

2. Water drops evoke Photog Boy's motherly instincts. We will not shoot until Photog Boy has located and avoided the exact longitudes and latitudes where acid water slips through roof cracks. 

3. Don't take the solar flare for granted. Finding a shoot-able location that offers water protection not indoors is more challenging than you think. And you don't think about it until 10 minutes before rainy day picture time, too late.

But I still love rainy days in cotton dresses.
