Sometimes I get disguise inspiration from the most peculiar places - carpets, wallpaper, movie theaters. That's correct, I said movie theaters.

I was at AMC last night, 8:50p Wednesday for the record. Photog Boy and I shimmied through the non-existent ticket line and exchanged our hard earned currency and by currency I mean pre-purchased Costco AMC tickets for two Looper 96% on www.rottentomatoes.com stubs. As we entered the shiny glass doors of the theater  we were greeted by the theater's bouncer, whose eyes seemingly sparkled at the vision of humans on a lone, Wednesday night. Before our coupons to enter were ripped, the concessions counter was already luring us with its invisible force field. I personally have no affinity for monopolized movie theater grub but the ICEEs always get Photog Boy. Is it just me or does the theater now allow you to bring your own snacks and drinks - they don't blatantly advertise it but they certainly don't oppose it if they see it. 

As we made our way down the long, empty, but billboarded halls of the theater's left wing, we braced ourselves for the seat search journey that would follow shortly. But we entered the black noisy cave only to find that we would have our pick of seats. Fellow concession victims slowly trickled in over the next 15 minutes. With only a soundtrack for pre-previews entertainment and no indication of the sound's origins, what could I do but examine the quarters I would be confined to for the next two hours.

Blurs of red and black filled every crevice I gazed upon. And from there the foundation of today's outfit was born. Polky was a necessary addition to save me from being mistaken for a movie theater chair and the tightly buttoned collar? That was inspiration from Mr. Looper himself. Anyone else think he has an uncanny resemblance to another actor, not Bruce Willis.
