The first time this swamp-tastic print became popular, I was finishing the last half of high school. Although I hadn't yet grown into a full-fledged fashionista with a keen eye for trends, I was still able to detect that this military favorite was the 'it' print of the season. I'll admit that I went off the deep-end with camo and stocked my closet with camo everything; I simply couldn't get enough of the muddy blur. Funny thing is, out of all the camouflage items I had stockpiled, I only played nice with one item. Why does that always happen?!
My Hollister camo cargo pants were practically glued to my legs that season. I don't know if it was because they could easily convert from pants to capris (that couldn't have been the reason, right?) or because they just seemed to go with everything. Either way, I wore them like there was no tomorrow.
I recently dug up those old pants and they're dying to make a 'cam' back (I know what you're thinking but I had to do it, just this once). I can hear them begging that this time around, they won't hang out exclusively with white tank or white tee. They're willing to give red heels and dot blouse a chance. They're going to do it right this time, they're going to girl-ify camouflage.
