This past Sunday was the Kirna Zabete x Target launch, and since I had visited the brick and mortar store in NY with the Lucky Magazine crew, I was all over this collaboration. 

I rose at a villainous hour (I'm not a morning person, especially on weekends), against the crying and pleading of my eye bags and dark circles to stay in bed for another hour. Although I suspected that this collaboration wouldn't receive the same sort of crazed-eye stare (think Cruella) as its predecessors, it was a risk I couldn't afford to take. Fashionistas and non-fashionistas alike are all too familiar with the mob-inducing capabilities that have accompanied recent Target collaborations (#missoniproblems) and I wanted no part in the eye of the tornado. What happened to the good old days when you could actually score the Loeffler Randall x Target items on sale?!

At the bullseye, there was only one other Kirna fangirl casually perusing the collection; crisis averted. The first Kirna that landed in my cart was, you guessed it, this slight trumpet hemmed, "Captain America" blue skirt.  Keep your eyes on this superhero of a skirt, to make another Flash appearance.

The Kirna Zabete x Target collaboration is worth checking out, even if you leave paws empty.
