I received a reader request to create an outfit that's office appropriate. People often equate work clothes to boring, solid, dark colors. But it doesn't have to be like that! You can wear lace, ruffles, prints, color block, or mix textures. The trick to wearing non-traditional colors, prints, or textures is to make sure that you don't over do it. Including one solid piece or one neutral color will make a fashionable outfit more office appropriate.
Another trick to making work attire less boring and more girly is to accessorize - accessories may seem like small insignificant details (that you might skip if you're running late in the morning) but they really do make the biggest difference. So when you suit up this week, don't be afraid to try something new; you'll even surprise yourself. It's a workplace wonderland out there!
On another note, if you have any outfit requests (for example: how to style a certain piece), feel free to leave a comment with your request and I will get to it! I do read all the comments!
Great Look dear.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children.
ReplyDeleteI found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her
ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched
her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off
topic but I had to tell someone!

Hi this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG
ReplyDeleteeditors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
