The colors of this outfit and the fact that these pictures were taken on a suspension bridge over the highway, made me feel like I was in Candyland amongst the cotton candy clouds. This pleated skirt is a recent addition to my wardrobe and although a bit pricey, I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it (the pleats solidified the deal). Leather in the summer can sometimes look heavy but the light cream color of this leather skirt makes it a piece that easily transitions between the seasons. By the way, did you notice that this belt is the bad girl version of yesterday's belt?! That's right, I am guilty of picking up one item in multiple colors, but they each have such a different vibe; it's as if they're two completely different belts. So perhaps I'm not that guilty after all... :) 

P.S. If you're on the hunt for good nude heels, I highly recommend the Steve Madden Dejavu. The hidden platform makes the shoe extra comfortable (I wore them for three hours and had no problems!) and elongates the legs more than a normal nude heel would! BEST. HEELS. EVER.
